This weekend I was able to attend the Living Proof Live Simulcast (Beth Moore). It was excellent, with some rich teaching about the importance of being in the Word. It was great teaching for the newcomer to The Word of God, as well as great teaching for the more seasoned believer to go even deeper in The Word. I was convicted and challenged! There were 70,000 women hearing that same Word that weekend all over the country and in a few other countries, too. WOW!!
I say it again - God is up to something HUGE with women right now! Here are a few key points that Beth gave us. In order to know what they mean, feel free to go to the link below this post to read my notes in a google.doc format.
The passage we were taught from is Luke 8, the parable of the sower. The theme was the 100 Fold Harvest - which is God's Word having maximum impact in our lives. I want that, don't you???!!!
1.TREASURE THE WONDER

3.EXPECT THE TEST
4.DIG THE ROOTS
5.STOP THE CHOKE
6.RETAIN THE WORD
7.PRESS FORTH TO YOUR 100-FOLD HARVEST

Hi ELLEN. I was reading all access blog site and read your comment about Beth MOORE in Louisville,ky. I live in Indiana. I went at church and just loved it. I noticed you are a biblical counselor. I too am a board certified biblical counselor. I finished this year. Anyway please pray for me to be sensitive to any doors the Lord may used in his timing for the training he has given me. I love his word and have read the Bible many times over and i also have a blog site at http://www.myblogshakes.blogspot.com/ I really am looking for his lead to know how he would use me to exalt him in my life. If you would be so kind to provide any resources that might plant a seed feel free to do so. Our church is very tiny and we already have many qualified teachers but still God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all i can think or imagine. I just want the courage and boldness to move forward even if it is much bigger than i think i can handle, with him leading i am preparing to go forward. Please remember me in prayer. I thank you. I notice your comment on all access. I went to the Beth Moore conference at church. It was great. I also noticed you are a biblical counselor. I also just finished and am now a board certified biblical counselor.
I would like information on how i might could use this training. Our church already have qualified teachers and such. We are a very small church. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.
